Hit The Ground Running

Don't look back.

Day 65

What a beautiful time it is to be alive. I'm very grateful for this opportunity and moment, and for being able to express myself and record this as history.

I've been pretty busy, as I always have been. As you see, the last time I posted was almost a week ago, give or take. Nonetheless, we are still busy and still finding ways to go. I just wanted to take time out and really bask in the glory of it.

I have plenty to be grateful for, even in the midst of all the busyness and sometimes even in the silence of the moment. You have to be able to find happiness. Finding happiness seems to be masked these days, and you don't know who's truly happy and who's not, especially with social media. Usually, someone's doing it for clout.

Where are all the truly happy people at? I can say that, lately, on day 65, I've had a very amazing time committing to myself, and each day I find more solace. I know I asked, “Where are all the truly happy people?” I should ask instead, “Where are the people who are able to be alone?” I'm a man of quality, and quality is important to me. I don't like fickle or disingenuous behavior.

I'd much rather be here, committed to myself, doing things I need to do and trying to figure things out on my own, rather than being around people who like to project. Projection is a real thing.

Two months have gone by, 65 days to be exact, and I'm just realizing that being able to appreciate yourself and not holding any judgment toward yourself has a ripple effect on life. Change truly starts from within, and it can't be the other way around. It has to start from within.

Once you begin to commit to yourself, you just don't put up with things you used to. You no longer judge things you used to judge, and you begin to appreciate the things that have meaning to you. Therefore, the things that feel minuscule don't really hold any significance.

You just have to hit the ground running. You don't need to look back. Committing to yourself means you're able to be happy with what you did in the moment and with what you produced, whether it be an experience or a moment of stillness. Therefore, there's no need to reflect on what happened the day before, because you commit to yourself, and you know that everything you do is completely absolute. With absolute, there's nothing else left to question.
