Day 33: August Recap
“Once you make a decision, the universe conspires to make it happen.” —Ralph Waldo Emerson
An entire month passes and I am driving recklessly without fear for any statute. If a state trooper were to pull me over, I would have to think about stepping on the pedal, full throttle, without looking back.
Thirty-days, technically thirty thirty-three but do I really care about formality especially if I’m feeling like the hot-hand that shoots away and cannot miss?
This is the feeling of real commitment. My past has diluted the sentiment of this presence with the present has absolutely discovered a revelation within its own testament. And I must give my Glory to God and The Universe, of course. Yet I also deserve that Glory, humbly acknowledging the effort for sticking to the discipline.
August did right by me or I did right by me. I still am getting use to appreciating myself openly and excessively. This must be a product of rarely getting acknowledged or shown appreciation for any efforts put inline with any actions. The pride within me is proud of myself.
First was the publishing of my personal-brand flagship, launch not publicly at the moment, but in its testing phase and I can’t feel but a sense of admiration like a father watching his offspring develop. It’s functioning as I had planned and there’s only but minor tweaks that need to be issued, otherwise, the green light is prepared and ready to be lit.
Discovering the power as well as being a witness to the creativity and the innovation of AI has also been a surprising benchmark in the month of August. I don’t think that I can reiterate enough times that if you’re not utilizing or even piquing interest to access AI, you will be lapped a few years if you don’t. Even writing a prompt or learning how-to write a prompt would suffice your chances in the race. AI has swept the landscape and it will be the transition and the translation. Do not get lost in it!
What grew even more during this month in time, surprisingly, for I thought it had no more room to grow is my Love and want, almost need, to spend my days with my daughter. You’d think that as busy as my plate has been, there would be no room for play-time but quite the opposite has happened for I always have time to spend with Boo. Maybe it’s because of the Summer season? Or maybe because it's the last of our seasons fully having any-time together for she will be journeying into the world of Kindergarten.
What excitement that brings to the house, even more so to the fact that her commitments are going to more or less find its way to be intensely focused towards herself. I accept that there is no such thing as coincidence for being able to commit to myself, I know my preparation will be the building block that I can use as an example when in-time to advise my baby-girl the importance of committing to self.
You would think that everyone makes that commitment to themselves but when you really do it and follow through with it, you begin to see the veil unraveling and appearing of the truth is the fact that it’s rarely an act committed. Most commitments are based on ideals or cultural templates; what society has defined as commitment and the image presented along with it.
What irony society has placed for what seems to be a more individualistic perspective that is sweeping through the nation. A loneliness epidemic with all this access to connection throughout the world and yet we are in an epidemic time of loneliness.
I can’t imagine truly how society would then transform because being alone is not a task that is often delegated. What I do know is if people took time out to connect with themselves more often and make that same commitment they show in their relationships, this epidemic would’ve been cured a long while ago. More than likely there wouldn’t have never even been an epidemic triggered.
This entire time, I’ve come to Love myself to a level I thought I had been for as many of the years I’ve been Spiritually journeying. Yet Love is exponential and a variable that can’t be controlled therefore it has no limits and is infinite. With infinite Love you begin to realize how much can be accomplished when your attention and the quality of your attention is turned introspectively.
Love begins to brew those feelings, youthful tendencies, and innocent naivety. Fear begins to lose it lust and finds its own way to silence the sensations. Belief comes raging back into that burden fear once governed and autonomy starts reforming. The mental capacity and processing begins refining itself sparking those unlit neural pathways of electricity bringing more energy and creativity. Life begins to illuminate once more and this time much naturally.
30-days since my declaration of commitment to myself.
If this is the product so far… Lord knows what’s already waiting for me.
Have you made that commitment to yourself yet?
